We wanted to take a moment to share a very special celebration from a couple of weeks ago that truly highlights the heart of DWE.
For our final Student of the Month ceremony of the school year, we honored our Most Improved students. This category celebrates the grit, perseverance, and growth that define our "Burg" spirit.
These students modeled the competencies in our Portrait of a Graduate blueprint. As Courageous Characters, they didn’t give up when things got tough, and as Creative Problem Solvers, they showed us the power of learning from mistakes and constantly striving to improve. Whether it was an academic breakthrough or a shift in mindset, their hard work over the course of the year has been incredible to witness.
While this was our last celebration for the year, it was the perfect note to end on. We are so proud of these students and are already looking forward to celebrating even more of our amazing students next year!
Congratulations to our April honorees! 💜🏆
